    Wrong Godfather with Prosecco

Two parts whiskey, two parts amaretto, and some ice. That's all you need to make a Godfather. It is said that the original cocktail was Marlon Brando's favorite when he starred in the movie The Godfather. According to others, this cocktail was created by an Italian-American bartender in the 40s and 50s in order to dedicate it to gangsters. The version with Prosecco was created by bartender Hiroaki Nagashima. In this new version it is enough to replace whisky with a Prosecco Brut, such as Prosecco Treviso DOC Millesimato Tenuta La Maredana. The contrast between the dry and strong notes of Prosecco and the sweeter and softer ones of amaretto is excellent.

    Old Cuban with Prosecco

Rum makes the Mojito a festive and intoxicating cocktail, but adding Prosecco changes everything. The bubbles turn a regular Mojito into a cool, elegant drink. Dark rum is shaken with lime juice, sugar syrup, angostura bitters. And to top it all off with good Prosecco. Created by Audrey Saunders to amuse and amaze, now appreciated worldwide for its unmistakable Italian bubbles.

    Prosecco in the Hugo

Imagine combining the taste of elderflowers with that of Prosecco and then adding a sprig of fresh mint. Three very different ingredients, right? The Hugo is actually a cocktail that mixes various flavors, all different and memorable. Using Brut Cuvée di Boj Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG will create a beautiful contrast with the sweet notes of elderberry syrup. To finish it off, a little soda and the addition of a sprig of mint will be enough.

    The French 75 with Prosecco

Another cocktail for connoisseurs, also in the case of the French 75 Prosecco replaces an ingredient provided in the original recipe, namely Champagne. Accompanying it in the creation of this refined and elegant cocktail will be gin and lemon juice. This sparkling cocktail involves very simple ingredients but a few tricks are needed to enhance the lemon flavor.

    And finally the Spritz

We are well aware that this article aims to offer you 5 original ideas but do not be fooled by expectations. The Spritz is definitely the most famous cocktail to have Prosecco as its alcoholic base but, if you are a true aperitif lover, you also know that there are dozens of variants of the Spritz, upon closer inspection even the Hugo is one, sometimes very different from each other.
